Recent strides made for full Equality

On November 19th, the Tampa City Council voted to amend the Human Rights Ordinance to include gender identity and expression!

On October 28, 2009, President Obama signed the National Department of Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010, including the Matthew Shepard/James Byrd, Jr, Hate Crimes Bill!

On October 30, 2009, President Obama signed the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009.
