Former Republican Sen. Jim DeMint, now president of the Heritage Foundation, will host a “strategic gathering of conservatives” in Tampa on Aug. 21. The main topic: Defunding Obamacare. Please bring your best protest sign and join with other protesters outside the event. The more protesters we have the better news coverage we will get.

This Saturday, June 29th, we will be participating in St Pete Pride, Florida’s largest GLBT Pride event! We will have a booth (#358 – 2300 block of Central Ave) where we will ask people to sign up and “Become Engaged” in the political process! We will be giving away engagement rings for those who sign up for this process and an automatic entry to win a fabulous “Blue” gift basket. Click here to sign up to volunteer to help us out at Pride!
Let’s take the momentum from not just the Supreme Court striking down DOMA and restarting marriage equality for our California GLBT brothers and sisters but also the Hillsborough County Commission unanimously reversing the Gay Pride ban earlier this month and keep progress coming!
Our work has just begun – Become Engaged!
