Today --- we can make a difference in Gainesville by making sure that Mayor Craig Lowe is re-elected. The election is tomorrow (Tuesday) and if the voters turn out, Craig will win! The Florida GLBT Democratic Caucus is supporting a GOTV effort by phonebanking all over the state for Craig. PLEASE give an hour or two, or three today to make sure Craig wins! Here is the email that went out to our members last night. Please help!!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to make phone calls to re-elect Mayor Craig Lowe. Craig has been a local and statewide advocate for LGBT equality as a private citizen and as an elected official and is a member of our Caucus. The election is Tuesday, April 16 and if we get the vote out, Craig will win!
All you'll need is your computer and a phone line!

Email Nick@CraigLowe.com for your personalized user name and password to sign into Vote Builder at
www.VoteBuilder.com.
Click "virtual phone bank", the button with a picture of a phone.
Select the only option available, "Volunteer Calls 4/14".
A script will appear, along with the name and phone number of a voter. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the script BEFORE you begin making calls! The script is designed to be brief and highlight the accomplishments the campaign has discussed throughout the campaign.
You will be able to either select an answer to our question about support, or check a box indicating an unsuccessful call (not home, wrong number, etc.).
Once you've completed a call, click "save/next"(**) and another call will appear.
** Please note: There is an exception to this rule. Some households have multiple voters in the home, and their names will appear in the box labeled "also in household" on the right side of your screen. Once you select a result for a given voter, DO NOT click "save/next"; instead click the name of the other voter in the household, load that person, and select the same result for them. This prevents us from calling the same home twice in a day.
